3.9 Competition and Playing area

Court

The court measures 18 x 9 meters and is surrounded by free zones. The center line divides the court into two halves of 9 x 9 meters. All lines that border the field of play or the front zones must be 5 cm wide. The lines always belong to the zone that delimits them: therefore, the attack lines belong to the front zone and the baselines and sidelines belong to the playing field.
