Vor dem Spiel muss jede Mannschaft einen '''Mannschaftskapitän benennen'''. Dies kann jeder Spieler sein, der in der Spielerliste aufscheint, nicht aber ein Libero. Am analogen Spielbericht ist er durch einen Kreis um seine Nummer zu markieren, im E-Scoring entsprechend auszuwählen.
Before the match, each team must nominate a team captain. This can be any player who appears on the player list, but not a libero. On the analogous match report he has to be marked by a circle around his number, in the e-scoring he has to be selected accordingly.
The team captain is to be marked by a strip below his number on the front of his dress. Should he leave the field of play, he or the team coach shall appoint a new captain, the so-called match captain.
